Service Description

Overview of Tour: This interpretive walking tour is a slow hike with frequent stops for guided mindfulness exercises. Tour capacity is 9 participants. Detailed Explanation of Guided Interpretation: The tour begins with warming-up the body with gentle movement and breathing exercises. Then a mindful hike to a vortex location. While walking, your tour guide will help you reflect on and interpret the landscape in new and unique ways. Then, once acclimated to the landscape, you will be led through a progression of intuitive skill-building practices to experience the vortex energy. We will spend most of our time in a cool and shaded vortex location where your guide will provide instruction and coaching on intuitive skills to feel the vortex energy. Your trained and experienced tour guide will lead the group in a guided meditation. There will be time for free play and forest bathing. The tour closes with a talking circle to process the day’s activities. Our friendly tour guides are happy to explore your all your metaphysical questions and the topics that arise. Logistics: Meeting Location is @ the Log Pavilion Parking lot is second public driveway on the left side of main road. Addresses: Ranger Station: 13208 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 Log Pavilion: 14 Myakka State Park Rd, Sarasota, FL 34241 Directions: 1) Pay the park admission fee at the ranger station. 2) Drive 1/4 mile on the main road-past the large parking lot on right and visitors center on the left. 3) Turn left when you see the large memorial rock on the left-log cabin pavillion is on the right. 4) Park behind the rock and walk across the street to the log pavilion *Restrooms are a short walk on a dirt path (300 feet North) in a similar log structure tucked in the trees. *Fill your water bottle at the visitor center-potable water possibly not available at other locations in the park. (as of April 2025) How to Dress and What to bring: *Dress for exercising; *Carry your own Water (minimum 2 bottles / 34 oz. / 1 liter); *Wear Closed toe shoes; *Use Sun Protection (hat, sunglasses, long sleeves, sunscreen). Ticket Prices: Ticket price is $55 for adults 16 years and older; $5 for children and Youth (3-15 years), and free for (0-2). ***Please read full Terms and Conditions, which includes the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Basic Terms: -All participants and guardians must sign safety waivers. -Please read full Terms and Conditions for expectations of and personal responsibility for physical health. Cancellation & Refund Policy *To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at srqvortex@gmail.com or (941) 367-9966 as soon as possible. *Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance are eligable for a full refund or option to reschedule. *Canceling 3-6 days in advance may recieving a 50% refund or option to reschedule. *No refunds if canceled within 48 hours of the tour. Rescheduling within 48 hours is at the discretion of the owner. Due to the nature of our small-group experiences, last-minute cancellations leave us unable to fill your spot. *No-shows – No refunds will be issued. *Participants must be ready at the designated pickup time. Tours will begin promptly at your ticketed time. Late arrivals, without prior notification, may forfeit their spot without a refund. Guests who do not show up within 15 minutes of the ticketed tour time will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling. ​Weather & Unexpected Circumstances -Weather-related cancellations– If the Guide or Operator cancels a tour due to unsafe weather conditions (lightning, severe storms, etc.), participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. -Unexpected closures or circumstances beyond our control – In the rare case that Sarasota Vortex Tours need to cancel your tour, we will offer a full refund or an alternative date. -Sarasota Vortex Tours LLC is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, natural disasters, government actions and regulations, pandemics and other emergencies, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or issue credits.
