We want to recognize organizations who share our values and nurture the living systems that make Southwest Florida so magical.

Rising Tide International
Rising Tide International is a spiritual center serving the Sarasota community for 20 years. The center hosts seminars and retreats, welcoming spiritual teachers and participants from around the world. Regular local groups include meditation classes, poetry readings, dance, concerts, and interfatith groups. Sarasota Vortex Tours hosted the 2025 Earth Day Celebration on their grounds.

Friends of Oscar Scherer Park
A Citizen Support Organization (CSO) with a mission, "To support the preservation and protection of the cultural resources and natural systems of Oscar Scherer State Park." Sarasota Vortex Tours is a proud corporate member of the Friends Group. We join them in pursuit of the second stated mission, "To promote public awareness of the ecological importance of OSSP through interpretive programs, special events, and social functions."​

FRIENDS OF MYAKKA RIVER
A Citizen Support Organization (CSO) with a mission, that, "Together, we're protecting and sharing Myakka's Magic, to the benefit of future generations, and our own." The Friends group funds important projects like the beloved canopy Walk and the current ranger station. Sarasota Vortex Tours is a proud corporate member of the Friends Group. We join them in pursuit of, "helping protect this special and environmentally critical place to the benefit of future generations, and our own."
Florida Society of Ethical Ecotourism
As a member-driven non-profit entity, Florida SEE is, "Raising the standard in Florida's ecotourism industry to protect and sustain our natural and cultural heritage for generations to come." FL SEE serves as a professional society of ecotour operators to uphold standards of ethics and integrity in preserving our natural heritage. Sarasota Vortex tours is a proud supporting member. We are pursuing certification during 2025.
